My journey to becoming a physician has led me not only to multiple states, but also abroad to Haiti and Jordan on medical mission trips. I am continually learning from my patients and their experiences. I translate this clinical knowledge to all of my new patients. 

Outside of work I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family

As a primary care clinician, I have the opportunity to develop a trusting partnership with my patients and their families to help them live a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy diagnosing and treating the various illnesses that affect patients during their lifetime, and take great pleasure in seeing them recover. It is important for me to listen carefully to my patients' concerns so we can work together to meet their individual healthcare needs.  

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, running, cycling, and skiing, in addition to spending time with my husband, adult children, and our new granddaughter.

My goal is to work collaboratively with patients and their families as well as the entire care team to support critically ill patients. Clinical care and working with the entire medical team to support patients and their families are my primary passions. I am also involved in ongoing research using imaging studies to better diagnose, monitor and understand lung disease and critical illness. Outside of work, I am an avid runner and sailor, and love spending time with my family.
