My mission is to provide exceptional care to hematology and oncology patients, and support patients and their families when they are at their most vulnerable. 

It is a privilege and an honor to have the opportunity to establish meaningful, long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I believe in open, honest communication and a patient-centered model when formulating a treatment plan. I look forward to supporting my patients not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spin classes, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. 

I consider myself lucky to do something that I love. Children and teens are great at reminding adults about the little joys of life while also presenting us with various medical and behavioral challenges. I enjoy navigating these challenges with each family to find the right approach for their child. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and three (lovable and challenging) children. I enjoy running with my dog, biking, swimming, skiing, and occasionally a good day of yard work. 

My goal is to work collaboratively with patients and their families as well as the entire care team to support critically ill patients. Clinical care and working with the entire medical team to support patients and their families are my primary passions. I am also involved in ongoing research using imaging studies to better diagnose, monitor and understand lung disease and critical illness. Outside of work, I am an avid runner and sailor, and love spending time with my family.

In my career as an emergency physician, I have gotten to take care of patients in both the usual emergency department setting as well as some other unusual environment. Regardless of the location, one thing remains the same - it is about the patient and the care they need at a time of medical crisis. I spend most of my time outside of work, still engaged in medicine with a variety of emergency response organizations as well as the military.

My mission is to relieve pain and suffering by healing patients' wounds as fast as possible.

I have been practicing plastic surgery with an emphasis on complex wounds since 1999.  In addition to providing advanced wound care, surgical treatment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, I am passionate about educating the next generation of physicians and participating in research that will transform the science of wound care. As the Research Director, I coordinate and lead clinical trials of potential new wound  therapies, providing the opportunity for our patients to participate in their own community.

My mission is to give the same care to my patients as I would want for my family or myself.    

I was born and raised in the Boston area.  After a long period of schooling and training across the country (New Hampshire, Ohio, California, Pennsylvania), I have been honored to return home to take good care of my people!  When not fixing retinas, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and three children.   

I graduated from Colegio Nacional de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, Argentina and completed my medical degree at Buenos Aires University School of Medicine. My surgical and urological residency were spent at the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires. I was an attending Urologist at Hospital Roffo in Buenos Aires until I came to the United States. At that point I was a Urology Fellow working on a research project at the Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. I completed my American residencies in urology and surgery at the University of Massachusetts.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children.

As a Primary Care NP, having the ability to form lasting relationships with my patients is what I find especially unique and rewarding. I highly value a holistic approach to patient care, as I believe comprehensive health expands beyond the physical aspects. I want to work together with each patient, since more successful outcomes are achieved through a mutually agreed upon and individualized plan. I like to practice what I preach by living a healthy, active lifestyle outside of work that includes running, yoga, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
