Dr. Meredith Faggen, Medical Director of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber/Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health

Developing healthy, trusting relationships with my patients is a passion of mine. Preventative medicine is key to a long, healthy life. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my french bulldog, Lilo, playing video games, hiking, traveling, and kayaking.

I enjoy caring for children through each stage of development. Promoting lifelong health is important but I also feel confident using medical expertise and resources to support families through acute and chronic illness. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband and two daughters.

My goal is to ensure patients feel that their concerns are thoroughly and thoughtfully addressed, in addition to remaining actively involved in their long-term skin care needs.

I joined South Shore Medical Center in 2015. My practice includes evaluating, treating, and counseling patients of all ages and skin types, while providing up-to-date medical knowledge in a caring, patient, and humble manner. I'm especially passionate about sun safety education and prevention. 

A hospitalization is often wrought with difficult news and decisions; it is my honor to care for patients at these times. I enjoy working with a care team, to deliver high-quality care. Above all, I try to foster sincere relationships with patients, focusing on what is most important to each person.
