The Friends of South Shore Health’s 2022 Kickin’ Up Country for Home Care event raised more than $28,500 to support Home Care services.

South Shore Health’s 33rd annual Golf Classic is set for Monday, May 23, and will be held at two locations: Plymouth Country Club and the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Mass.

With support from its longstanding partnership with Best Automotive of Hingham, South Shore EMS has evolved into a premier emergency response team.

Effective August 1, 2022, South Shore Health will no longer accept cash for patient payments and donor contributions.

The IAC grants accreditation only to those elite facilities that excel in providing exceptional patient care, in full compliance with strict national standards. South Shore Hospital earned the reaccreditation after a comprehensive application process, including a rigorous review of selected patient procedures.

This is the fourth consecutive verification for South Shore Hospital. As a Level II Trauma Center, the hospital is equipped to handle all critical injuries, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The South Shore Health annual Golf Classic, held on May 20, generated a record-breaking $320,000 – with all proceeds earmarked for the organization’s implementation of Behavioral Health services and initiatives.

South Shore Health and Wellforce announced today that the organizations are in partnership discussions and the parties have formally indicated their intention to move forward with discussions and developing a tighter relationship.
