A Special "Double Delivery" at South Shore Hospital for One Local Family

Last week was a special one for a Marshfield family, as we had a heartwarming "double delivery" at South Shore Hospital!
Shanie Miceli, RN is a nurse in our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
On February 19, Shanie's daughter, Melissa, who works in South Shore Hospital's Imaging Department, welcomed baby boy Walker to the world here at the Hospital.
Just a few hours later, Shanie's daughter and Melissa's sister, Francesca, arrived at the Hospital and gave birth to a baby girl of her own, Scarlett!
In the span of just a few hours, this double delivery brought immense joy and excitement to the extended Miceli Family.
We're pleased to share that both moms and babies are doing exceptionally well. We're grateful to be able to play a role in such a happy moment for these families.
Congratulations to the Miceli, McDonough, and Lennon families on this remarkable occasion!
