South Shore Health Paramedics Help Deliver Baby in Weymouth

The South Shore EMS colleagues that responded to the call congratulate mom and dad on their new arrival.

It was anything but a routine call for South Shore Health paramedics Andrew Solden, Michelle Rzasa, James Polk, and Tom Walker on Saturday morning. The crew was dispatched to a patient’s home to care for a pregnant mother. When the South Shore EMS crew arrived on scene with the Weymouth Police, they went from caring for one patient to two.

“We pulled up the same time as the police, ran in, and arrived as soon as mom was delivering the baby,” Michelle Razza told Boston 25 News.

We're thrilled to say mom, dad, and baby are all doing well!
