About This Event

Since ancient times, the heart has been thought to be the trigger for our emotions. Or, could it be that our emotions are the trigger for what happens in the heart?

In truth, the brain is the CEO of this communication loop. While powerful, this leader cannot always call upon controlled, analytical thought. Nature and nurture alter the neuropathways that impact how we think, feel, and act. Join us for this presentation and learn to recognize the underlying mechanics, beautiful narratives, and individual differences that lead to an array of "heart-based" experiences. In doing so, we can move closer to heart health, resilience, and freeing compassion for ourselves and others.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of South Shore Health.

Our presenters are Samantha O’Connell, PhD, Chief Psychologist and Antony Sheehan, President & CEO of Aspire Health Alliance.
