About This Event

Maple sap has a long history in our region.

Indigenous peoples collected maple sap and transformed it into maple sugar for food, cooking, storage, and trade.

European settlers eventually adopted the tradition for themselves and over time, traditional methods evolved into efficient systems in modern sugarhouses.

Today, Goodrich's Maple Farm proudly carries this tradition forward and invites you to learn more about their story in this informative presentation offered by The Friends of South Shore Health!

Our presenter for this program will be Glenn Goodrich, co-owner and producer at Goodrich's Maple Farm in Cabot, Vermont.

Glenn will share the story of Goodrich's Maple Farm and discuss the history, science, and natural sweetness of maple production.

This event will be held virtually via WebEx. It is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
