Need a sports physical before getting back on the gridiron? You can visit any of our six South Shore Health Urgent Care locations, no appointment required.

If your student athlete needs a sports physical before getting back on the track, court or playing field, South Shore Health Urgent Care has you covered.

Our six South Shore urgent care offices offer pre-participation physical exams for students in grades K-12 for sports (and camp) activities, no appointment required. The cost is $30.

Required by most school districts and athletic leagues, sports physicals help ensure your child is healthy and can safely play a sport.

These exams can also raise awareness about any health issues that could interfere with their ability to participate.

During a sports physical, South Shore Health Urgent Care providers will review your athlete's height, weight and vital signs and perform a basic physical exam.

During the sports physical, South Shore Health Urgent Care providers will review your athlete’s height, weight and vital signs. A basic physical exam will be performed.

Our providers can also identify areas prone to injury and suggest tips to help prevent future problems. And we’ll complete the forms required by your school district.

As a reminder, sports physicals should not replace your child’s annual wellness visit with their primary care provider.

A parent or legal guardian must accompany all students under the age of 18.
