Our physical therapists and physical therapy assistants have experience treating both pediatric and adult patients. Many of our team members also have additional certifications in specialty fields, including certified lymphedema therapists and concentrations in sports medicine. Physical therapist Ann Marie Bohmiller of South Shore Health

Ann Marie Bohmiller

Ann Marie Bohmiller received her bachelor’s degree from Russell Sage College and has worked as a Physical Therapist at South Shore Health since 1984. Her two areas of specialty and passion are lymphedema management and aquatic therapy. Ann Marie is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy since 2012 and works with patients to help them learn to manage lymphedema of the arm, leg, trunk, head, or neck. Since 1993, Ann Marie has integrated aquatic therapy into the rehab process, working primarily with adults, to aide in recovery and management of orthopedic, neurological and chronic pain diagnoses. Outside of work, Ann Marie enjoys cooking and outdoor activities.

Steve Budrick

Steve Budrick, MS, LAT, ATC, PES, PTA is a physical therapy assistant. He has worked for South Shore Health's Center for Orthopedics, Spine and Sports Medicine for three years. He has been in the industry for 35 years as a PTA and Athletic Trainer, specializing in orthopedic rehab and sports medicine. He currently also serves as the Athletic Trainer for Cohasset High School Athletics.

Kathleen Daggett

Kathleen Daggett

Kathleen Daggett PT, MSPT is an experienced outpatient clinician, having practiced in an outpatient setting for over 16 years.  A graduate of Boston University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, she employs a wide variety of treatment techniques, with a strong emphasis on patient education to allow patients to better understand their diagnosis, achieve their therapy goals and promote lifelong health and wellness.  She is LSVT BIG certified and has attended the IOMT fellowship program.  Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family, both 2 and 4 legged and enjoys golfing, gardening and hiking in her free time.

Kristin Egan

Kristin Egan became a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2005, earning her degree at Simmons College. She then received her orthopedic specialist certification in 2014. She is aquatic therapy trained and has significant experience treating patients with vertigo. She greets each patient with a smile and maintains a positive attitude when helping people reach their goals.

Physical therapist Andrea Ferreira of South Shore Health

Andrea Ferreira

Andrea Ferreira, PTA earned her associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistance at New England Institute of Technology in 2012. She also has a bachelor's degree in Science with a concentration in Motor Development Therapy. Andrea has experience working within multiple clinical settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and acute care. She has been at South Shore Health since 2015. This experience in multiple settings has allowed her to treat patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult, as well as aquatic therapy. She enjoys treating patients with neurological diagnoses. Andrea is Bilingual in English and Portuguese.

Physical therapist Tim Harrington of South Shore Health

Tim Harrington

Tim Harrington, PT, DPT, OCS has been a part of South Shore Health's Center for Orthopedics, Spine, and Sports Medicine since 2016. He is a graduate of Northeastern University, is a board-certified orthopedic specialist. Tim enjoys getting his patients back to their optimal physical function and helping them maintain healthy physical lifestyles in all orthopedic populations.

Physical therapist Lauren Holm of South Shore Health

Lauren Holm

Lauren Holm, PT, DPT has been a physical therapist with South Shore Health since 2015. She initially earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in Economics and Communications in 2007. Lauren went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 2014. Working with orthopedic, vestibular, and balance patients of all ages is what she enjoys most. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, skiing, and cooking with her husband and three young children.

Clinical Interests: Orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, rehabilitation of vertigo and dizziness (vestibular conditions)

Physical therapist Melissa Kennedy of South Shore Health

Melissa Kennedy

Melissa Kennedy, PT, DPT, OCS graduated with her master’s degree from Quinnipiac University, and later went on to obtain her doctorate degree from Temple University.  She is also an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Melissa takes pride in her role as the team physical therapist for South Shore Health's Boston Marathon and Pan-Mass Challenge teams. She takes an energetic approach to treating her patients to motivate them to achieve an active lifestyle.

Physical therapist Lina Lamb of South Shore Health

Lina Lamb

Lina Lamb is a physical therapist and an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, who specializes in the care of all orthopedic injuries. She has practiced for more than 15 years, and has been with South Shore Hospital for over 9 years. She obtained her B.S. in Biology from Binghamton University in NY, and then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. Lina is passionate about helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries, and guide them to return to their active lifestyles. Outside of work Lina enjoys all outdoor activities, dance, and spending time with her family.

Sammi Lehr

Samantha “Sammi” Lehr is a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who graduated with her associate degree from Bay State College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sport Science from Colby-Sawyer College. Growing up locally on the South Shore, she appreciates being able to care for patients in and around her community. Focusing on aquatic therapy, gait and balance training, and orthopedics, Sammi is passionate about treating patients in the pool, after surgeries, and helping them build confidence with walking or balance. Sammi enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting and drawing, hiking, and going to the beach.

Physical therapist Jean Lincoln-Gauthier of South Shore Health

Jean Lincoln-Gauthier

Jean Lincoln-Gauthier, PT, DPT, CLT is an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth class of 2001, where she attained a bachelor's and master's of science degree in Biology. She then went on to MGH Institute of Health Professions and graduated in 2004 with a master's and doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. She became a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) in 2003, and has been passionate about rehabilitation of oncology patients at South Shore Health since 2012. Outside of work, Jean enjoys time with family, especially outside activities, camping and exercising.

Clinical Interests: Post-surgery oncology rehab, primary and secondary lymphedema, edema management of the upper and lower extremity, trunk, head, and neck

Laura McCarthy

Laura McCarthy, PT, DPT earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and she has been working at South Shore Health for more than 20 years. She has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses but her passion is treating patients who have acute or chronic back injuries. With a focus on helping her patients return to their optimal health, she has a special interest in using hands on or manual therapy techniques. Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, and traveling.

Sidney Michaux, PT

Sidney Michaux, PT, DPT obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation in 2022.  She began her career working as an acute care physical therapist prior to joining the team at South Shore. Sidney is passionate about working with pediatric patients and their families to provide evidence based and family centered care to children to all ages, especially those with neurological and developmental needs. Outside of work, Sidney enjoys baking, exercise, and playing with her two dogs, Bailey and Maya.

Physical therapist Dan Murray of South Shore Health

Dan Murray

Dan Murray, MS, PT has managed our practice at Orthopedics, Spine and Sports Therapy since it first opened its doors in 2012. He has been a physical therapist for more than 20 years, including more than 10 here on the South Shore. Dan developed a keen interest in Sports Medicine while earning his degree and playing on the Men’s Soccer team at Northeastern University.

Colin O'Connor

Colin O’Connor PT, DPT graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with concentration in Sports Medicine. He then a received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Colin’s background in Sports Medicine and Strength and Conditioning drives his passion for treating orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as sport-related concussion.

Sarah Poliatti

Sarah Poliatti PT, DPT, OCS has been working as a Physical Therapist for SSH since 2015. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from Northeastern University. Sarah enjoys helping patients of all functional levels achieve their goals and get back to doing the things they love. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys exercising, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Claire Porter

Claire Porter

Claire Porter is a physical therapist and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She received her B.S. from the University of Michigan and then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute for Health Professions in Boston. She started her career with an internship at the Spaulding National Running Center in Cambridge and then worked at MGH in outpatient adult orthopedics full time. Moving to the south shore in 2020, she transitioned to South Shore Hospital and continues to treat exclusively outpatient orthopedics. She is a marathoner. She is also a yoga teacher. Passionate about both running and yoga, these things influence her physical therapy practice and she enjoys guiding clients back to the activities that they love.

Nora Reyad

Nora Reyad

Nora Reyad PT, DPT is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Nora began her career working as an acute care physical therapist prior to joining the team at South Shore. She enjoys working with adults with a variety of diagnoses and is particularly interested in sleep and its role in rehabilitation. In her free time, Nora enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, cooking, and eating at new restaurants.

Physical therapist Taylor Merola of South Shore Health

Taylor Rose

Taylor Rose, PT, DPT graduated from Northeastern University in 2016 with her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Taylor has worked at South Shore Health since she graduated in 2016. Taylor enjoys treating a variety of patients, but orthopedics is her passion. She loves the challenge and reward of helping patients achieve their activity goals. In her free time, Taylor enjoys hiking, cooking new recipes, and traveling to new places!

Physical therapist Deanna Ruggiero of South Shore Health

Deanna Ruggiero

Deanna became a PTA in 1996 and started at South Shore Health in 2011. She has experience with a wide variety of diagnoses, and her interests lie in orthopedics and balance disorders. Deanna enjoys being able to help people get back to doing what they love. She enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Physical therapist Kenneth Shannon of South Shore Health

Kenneth Shannon

Kenneth Shannon, PT, DPT, OCS has been a physical therapist for over 25 years, the past 9 of which have been spent at South Shore Health. Ken graduated with his master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Springfield College and attained his doctorate in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Ken has always had a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine, and has completed advanced study work, as well as an MGH-IHP residency in orthopedics. He is a strong believer in self and patient education as one of the building blocks of exceptional care. Everyone has goals related to activity and no matter how large or small, and Ken is relentless in helping his patients achieve them. When Ken is not at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends involved in pursuits like exercise, fishing, golfing, skiing, and art.

Physical therapist Rob Shirley of South Shore Health

Rob Shirley

Rob Shirley, PT, DPT received his undergraduate degree from Union College, where he was a member of the men’s soccer team. He then went on to receive his DPT from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Rob has developed a passion for treating patients with orthopedic and sports related injuries, with a specialization in the treatment of sport-related concussions.

Jessica Thomas

Jessica Thomas, PT

Jessica has over 10 years of Physical Therapy experience treating various orthopedic and post-surgical diagnoses. She graduated from Northeastern University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 and also her Bachelors of Rehabilitation Science in 2008. She continues to advance her skills through continuing education courses, which have included varying manual techniques and exercise interventions for the Shoulder, Knee, Ankle/Foot, and Spine, to optimize patients’ outcomes. She is passionate about creating a relationship with each patient and individualizing their treatment plan to help them achieve their personal goals. She especially enjoys treating the geriatric population to improve their overall quality of life and independence. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and walking her dog.

Elizabeth “Liz” Vasapolli, PT, DPT has worked as a physical therapist at South Shore Health since she graduated from Northeastern University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. Liz has a passion for treating a variety of different patient populations, including patients with neurological, vestibular, post-concussion, and orthopedic conditions. She is certified in LSVT BIG for treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease. Liz believes in a collaborative approach to care with a focus on helping patients achieve their goals. Outside of work, Liz enjoys traveling, exercise, and spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel Wadkins

Rachel Wadkins PT, DPT earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons College.  She enjoys working with patients of all ages with neurological, vestibular, balance, and orthopedic conditions. She is certified in LSVT BIG to treat patients with Parkinson’s Disease. Rachel aims to empower her patients through exercise to help them achieve their personal goals. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys listening to music, cooking, and staying active through running and soccer.

Physical therapist Brien Wolter of South Shore Health

Brien Wolter

Brien Wolter, PTA, has practiced for more than 19 years. He has worked in orthopedics for 17 years, and spent more than two years working with special needs kids. He played collegiate soccer and coached at Ted Williams' Baseball Camp while earning his bachelor's degree. When not at work, Brien enjoys his time with his family and pursuit of wellness, in a gym or outdoors. He is dedicated to returning you to good health, believing smiling is good medicine.
