I enjoy the challenge of the diagnostic process of medicine, which is one of the many reasons I have chosen to work as a nocturnist, which is a hospital-based physician who works overnight. In my free time, I've been known to read books about the American Revolution and Colonial Period, or attend hard rock/metal concerts. Also, '90s music is in my head all of the time. 

I graduated from Tufts University and received my medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. I completed my surgical and urological residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital. I am certified by the American Board of Urology and I strive to provide the highest quality patient care in a warm compassionate environment.

People come to the orthopedic surgeon seeking relief from pain and improved function. It is my goal to create a trusting doctor-patient relationship and make a treatment plan together. We have the same desire: for you to get better and back to life.

My journey to becoming a physician has led me not only to multiple states, but also abroad to Haiti and Jordan on medical mission trips. I am continually learning from my patients and their experiences. I translate this clinical knowledge to all of my new patients. 

Outside of work I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family

My mission is to provide culturally competent, evidence-based, and compassionate care to improve the quality of life of all of my patients. 

Medical care that not only tends to patients’ physiological ailments but imparts a sense of emotional comfort is the preeminent force in my practice. I completed my training at Tufts University School of Medicine, where I received a Masters Degree in Medical Science and another Masters Degree in Public Health.

With my role in healthcare I want to ensure that patients feel well informed and comfortable making decisions about their care.

I enjoy being able to work with patients from a variety of different back grounds and help them through their hospital stay. I want patients to feel informed and included in their health care decisions. Outside of work I enjoy doing anything to move my body from rock climbing and skiing to running and strength training.

My practice style encourages patient and parent involvement in problem-solving and health maintenance. I enjoy meeting new patients and getting to know them on a personal level, so to better tailor treatment plans to each child's unique needs. Listening to parents and patients is paramount to my office visits. I try to create a fun and stress-free experience for all.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, especially at the beach! 

I went into family medicine in order to have long-term relationships with my patients, and I find this to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.  I enjoy working with patients of all ages and working together with multigenerational families.  Outside of medicine, my interests include running, biking, skiing, and travel.  Most importantly, I love spending time with my family.

My mission is to provide compassionate and effective care to treat patients in critical moments in order to ensure the best possible outcomes through prompt intervention and evidence-based practices.

I completed residency at Boston Medical Center. I believe in providing evidence-based and compassionate care at all times and in honest and open communication with my patients about their condition and treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing and spending time outdoors and with my family.
