My mission is to care for all patients wisely, fairly, and with respect.  

I work hard to provide the best emergency care to the greatest number of patients, and to treat every patient with the respect and importance that they deserve.

My personal philosophy in life is to be kind and compassionate. My background is in adult-gerontology and neurosurgery. I aim to create patient-centered relationships where my patients feel comfortable disclosing any concerns. In addition, I aim to provide open communication. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering at a local nursing home and a local food bank, and performing in an dance group in ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. I also enjoy hiking and exploring local trails.

In my career as an emergency physician, I have gotten to take care of patients in both the usual emergency department setting as well as some other unusual environment. Regardless of the location, one thing remains the same - it is about the patient and the care they need at a time of medical crisis. I spend most of my time outside of work, still engaged in medicine with a variety of emergency response organizations as well as the military.

My mission is to assure that patients are comfortable, informed, and receive high quality care while in the hospital.

It is a privilege to help my patients by providing quality care while they are in the hospital. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored as we all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding on a treatment plan. Good communication is essential to good care.

It is an honor to have patients place their trust in my hands. I strive to provide excellent care throughout a patient’s entire hospital stay, be it in the ED, OR, ICU or ward. Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside with my family and friends.

My goal as an FNP is to create a safe and welcoming environment where patients can openly share their concerns and trust that I’ll provide the best possible care. 

I always strive to better my practice to have the opportunity to make a difference in my patients' lives. I want to be the provider that patients come to, knowing they will feel heard; and empowering them to take control of their overall wellbeing. I believe in the importance of going above and beyond for each individual patient to optimize their quality of life. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and hiking with my wife and dog!
