I completed my Master’s Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Northeastern University and earned my bachelors of Science degree from The College of the Holy Cross as a Biology Major and Philosophy minor. I worked as a registered nurse at MGH on a cardiac step down unit and then an NP in a busy nursing home practice and in two community health centers. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors with my husband and two children.

My goal is to provide patients with a deep understanding of their problem and work together to get the best results possible. 

What I love about orthopedic surgery is the ability to make a profound impact on the quality of life of my patients. No two shoulders are the same, so I think it is crucial to spend time talking with patients to understand their presentation and come up with a treatment plan. Technology is ever evolving and I think it is important to integrate that into my practice to ensure great outcomes. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the beach.

I graduated from Colegio Nacional de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, Argentina and completed my medical degree at Buenos Aires University School of Medicine. My surgical and urological residency were spent at the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires. I was an attending Urologist at Hospital Roffo in Buenos Aires until I came to the United States. At that point I was a Urology Fellow working on a research project at the Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. I completed my American residencies in urology and surgery at the University of Massachusetts.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children.

I strive to provide high quality, safe, comprehensive anesthesia services and care to all my patients in the perioperative period. 

In the 8 years that I have been practicing anesthesia, I am resolute in my belief that creating and fostering a team environment with effective communication is crucial to developing an atmosphere of trust and the key to providing high quality care inside and outside of the OR with patients and colleagues alike.  As a collegiate athlete and previous marketing manager in my first career, I try to bring these skills and values into the OR and Anesthesia department. Outside of work, I love recreating in the outdoors. From snowboarding, hiking, biking, to waterskiing, beach lounging and lake time with my family, I love it all. Most importantly I love spending time with my husband and two daughters.

My passion for family medicine is rooted in the ability to take part in the growth and development of my patients as they reach milestones in their lives.

As a family nurse practitioner, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to build connections with my patients throughout their lifetime. Being a strong advocate of patient-centered care, I am committed to supporting my patients in a collaborative manner in order to help them meet and exceed their health goals. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with family.

I grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from University of Chicago before moving to Boston for medical training at Boston University, followed by residency at Boston Medical Center.

I have been a hospitalist attending physician at South Shore Hospital since 2012. I married in 2006 and have two girls.
