With my role in healthcare I want to ensure that patients feel well informed and comfortable making decisions about their care.

I enjoy being able to work with patients from a variety of different back grounds and help them through their hospital stay. I want patients to feel informed and included in their health care decisions. Outside of work I enjoy doing anything to move my body from rock climbing and skiing to running and strength training.

I enjoy taking care of my patients and including their families and the entire treatment team in the process. 

My mission is to provide culturally competent, evidence-based, and compassionate care to improve the quality of life of all of my patients. 

Medical care that not only tends to patients’ physiological ailments but imparts a sense of emotional comfort is the preeminent force in my practice. I completed my training at Tufts University School of Medicine, where I received a Masters Degree in Medical Science and another Masters Degree in Public Health.

My treatment philosophy is to empower patients to be as healthy as they can be through a holistic approach.

I want to help patients feel the best they can. I believe focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and doing things that make you happy make a huge difference in people’s health. Listening to what patients have to say is of utmost importance. I have been described as a good listener by some of my patients.

I aim to improve patient’s lung health and help patients and families through critical illnesses.

I work to provide excellent care in the acute and outpatient settings, in close collaboration with other specialists and staff. I am passionate about helping everyone reach their individual health goals.

I find great satisfaction in treating the whole person and not just their illness. Understanding a patient's unique outlook on life is paramount to providing proper care. Each patient has a voice which should not only be heard but appreciated.

Outside of work, I enjoy time in the woods; hiking, fishing and kayaking with family and friends. 

Dr. Devan grew up in New Hampshire and received a bachelor's degree in engineering at RPI. He earned his MD at Tufts in 2017 and completed his urology residency at Maine Medical Center in 2022. His focus is general urology and robotics. He enjoys developing a shared treatment plan with his patients. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his husband and family.

I was drawn to family medicine because joining patients on their journeys to healthier, happier lifestyles is incredibly rewarding. I strive to always provide care that is patient-centered and evidence-based in both primary care and the hospital. Outside of medicine, I love traveling and enjoying new restaurants with my wife.

Outside of work, | enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and excercising. 

I am honored to treat and work with my patients. When I am not working, I am running marathons or trails, skiing, biking or cooking. Health and wellness are some of my passions.
