I offer the full scope of treatments for women's healthcare needs.

I am originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts. I practiced in Quincy for 30 years before coming to South Shore Medical Center in 2002. I am experienced in abdominal surgery, trauma, and management of skin and soft tissue tumors. 

I enjoy helping people stay healthy through preventative medicine, as well as treating both developing and ongoing health issues. I especially value getting to know my patients over time.

My mission is to engage patients to participate in their medical management.

I enjoy establishing long-term relationships with my patients to enhance their participation in their plan of care.

Developing healthy, trusting relationships with my patients is a passion of mine. Preventative medicine is key to a long, healthy life. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my french bulldog, Lilo, playing video games, hiking, traveling, and kayaking.

I developed an interest in pediatrics early in my medical career and continue to love working with children. I have the privilege of getting to know patients well by following them through infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and exploring Boston.

I graduated from Tufts University and received my medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. I completed my surgical and urological residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital. I am certified by the American Board of Urology and I strive to provide the highest quality patient care in a warm compassionate environment.

I find great satisfaction in treating the whole person and not just their illness. Understanding a patient's unique outlook on life is paramount to providing proper care. Each patient has a voice which should not only be heard but appreciated.

Outside of work, I enjoy time in the woods; hiking, fishing and kayaking with family and friends. 

I really enjoy working with the pediatric population. Kids are so energetic, willing to learn and eager to challenge themselves. The beauty of pediatric primary care is that one day is never the same, every child is so unique. There is always new knowledge to gain. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, swimming, and vacationing on Cape Cod.
