I have been providing medical and surgical foot and ankle care to the greater South Shore community since 1996. I first joined the medical staff of South Shore Hospital in 1997 and have been working with South Shore Medical Center since 2004. Some of my clinical interests include Podiatric Surgery and Sports Medicine of the foot and ankle.

My mission is to assure that patients are comfortable, informed, and receive high quality care while in the hospital.

It is a privilege to help my patients by providing quality care while they are in the hospital. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored as we all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding on a treatment plan. Good communication is essential to good care.

I enjoy the challenge of the diagnostic process of medicine, which is one of the many reasons I have chosen to work as a nocturnist, which is a hospital-based physician who works overnight. In my free time, I've been known to read books about the American Revolution and Colonial Period, or attend hard rock/metal concerts. Also, '90s music is in my head all of the time. 

I love caring for children and their families, whether it be supporting parents as they learn how to care for their newborns or helping a sick child recover from an acute illness. I believe in shared decision-making and incorporating each family's individual needs and goals into their child's care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, running, and traveling.
