I want each patient I care for to feel heard, safe, well-informed and active participants in their healthcare.

Midwifery has been an (almost) lifelong passion of mine. I saw my aunt give birth to my cousin when I was 10 years old and knew instantly that caring for women and babies was what I was meant to do. I started as a labor and delivery nurse in 2011 and completed midwifery school in 2015. I have attended births in the hospital and home setting. I love caring for women in pregnancy and all other stages in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy hanging at our family beach house on the Jersey Shore, snowmobiling in Pittsburg, NH and spending time with my husband and 2 daughters. 

My mission is to guide and empower patients as active participants in their care to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent disease throughout their lifespan.

As a Primary Care NP, having the ability to form lasting relationships with my patients is what I find especially unique and rewarding. I highly value a holistic approach to patient care, as I believe comprehensive health expands beyond the physical aspects. I want to work together with each patient, since more successful outcomes are achieved through a mutually agreed upon and individualized plan. I like to practice what I preach by living a healthy, active lifestyle outside of work that includes running, yoga, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.

My mission is to give the same care to my patients as I would want for my family or myself.    

I was born and raised in the Boston area.  After a long period of schooling and training across the country (New Hampshire, Ohio, California, Pennsylvania), I have been honored to return home to take good care of my people!  When not fixing retinas, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and three children.   

My goal is to help empower women and families and encourage them to be active participants in their care. 

I became familiar with midwifery care 20 years ago when I gave birth to my daughter with a group of amazing midwives. I was an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse at the time but, after my experience with the midwives, I knew that becoming a midwife was my true calling. I find every birth that I attend to be unique and special in its own way. I strive to help women achieve the labor and birth they desire. Everyone is different, and I enjoy getting to know families and helping them navigate this very pivotal time in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, and crocheting.

My mission is to provide compassionate care for patients in challenging times.

It is a privilege and an honor to stand alongside patients and their families during some of the most difficult times they may face. I strive to provide thoughtful, effective, and compassionate care while maintaining clear and honest communication throughout the treatment and recovery process in the ICU. So you can get to know me, some of my hobbies include Dodgers baseball, music, gaming, and exercise. I also enjoy traveling around the world with my lovely wife.

My treatment philosophy and focus is to diagnose and treat patients ages 15 – 100 whom have a variety of breast issues including but not limited to infection, pregnancy related breast issues, genetic risk for cancer, abscesses, skin disorders, abnormal breast imaging, breast lumps, and past or current personal history of breast cancer.

I've been an RN since 1981, working in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Ventilator Care. I've been a NP since 1996. I'm a graduate of Columbia University in Adult Health and Oncology. I worked in New Jersey for 20 years in Internal Medicine and combined Oncology prior to relocating to Massachusetts in 2003.
