I am Director of GK Dermatology, PC, in Weymouth, Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Brown University, and Professor of Dermatology at Jundiaí Medical School, Brazil. My practice focuses on Medical Dermatology, Phototherapy, and Laser Surgery. I have authored more than 100 articles and chapters and edited 2 monographs and 3 books.

I provide conventional and alternative healthcare modalities throughout the life span.

As a nurse practitioner I have really enjoyed the connections made with my patients.  I strive to always provide optimum patient care, and I love learning from them. My other interests include spending time with my family, traveling and a nice sunny day at the beach.  Every day I try to incorporate and encourage others with simple mindfulness and complementary medicine such as yoga, reiki and meditation.

Working in pediatrics is truly a rewarding experience. I have been humbled in my career as families have trusted me as part of their child's medical team. I am constantly in awe of the curiosity, perceptiveness, and resilience of the pediatric patient. I love educating patients and families and learning from them as well. My current hobbies include chasing after my two little girls, spending time with family and friends, and giving my English Bulldog Bella lots of belly rubs!

Being trusted as a physician to treat patients', sometimes life threatening, medical conditions is a privilege and responsibility I thrive to honor every day. Helping hospitalized patients and their families to cope with changes during these stressful times is crucial to achieve better medical outcomes and to improve the well-being of the community as a whole. 

Outside of work, I like to watch soccer, Crossfit training, travel the world and take photographs. 

It is a privilege to treat patients compassionately in our community. I strive for excellence, open communication, accessibility, and long-term relationships. Outside of work, I especially love spending time with my family, swimming, bicycling, tennis, golf, sailing, photography, and magic.

My goal is to help patients and families manage the acute illness that lead to hospitalization and transition to a healthy life outside the hospital environment.

I am passionate about effective management of acute medical issues while providing clear and concise medical information. In addition to clinical practice, I am interested in using technology innovations to improve patient health.

Outside of work, I am an avid SCUBA diver.
