My goal is to educate, support, and empower women to make choices about their health that they feel good!

I believe in providing women with education and options that empower them to make healthy decisions that contribute to better health for themselves and their families. I see the importance and benefit in a model of shared decision making. When I'm not midwifing it up I like to write, read, run, bake and hang with my kids and husband!

My mission is to promote patient advocacy by giving my patients a voice, protecting their rights, and ensuring their safety.

I went into anesthesia because of a positive experience I had while undergoing surgery. I felt like a person, not a number or specimen. It's that personal touch that I strive to provide to each patient I'm honored to care for. My family is my rock; my friends are my power; my patients are my passion.

I consider myself lucky to do something that I love. Children and teens are great at reminding adults about the little joys of life while also presenting us with various medical and behavioral challenges. I enjoy navigating these challenges with each family to find the right approach for their child. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and three (lovable and challenging) children. I enjoy running with my dog, biking, swimming, skiing, and occasionally a good day of yard work.
