Entering the health care field has been a great joy and privilege. Working with patients for over 10 years has illustrated that everyone's needs are unique. It is such an honor and privilege to be a physician. It has been especially gratifying to devote my career to the field of Hospital Medicine, and to work at South Shore Hospital to help serve my community.
Being hospitalized is often one of the most challenging and frustrating experiences a person can have. As a Hospitalist, what is so rewarding is that I can use my training and abilities to make such difficult times for people more compassionate and less confusing.
Outside of the hospital, I love spending time with my wife and young son and traveling. I also love anything to do with the outdoors and enjoy running.

As an admitting hospitalist, my focus is to facilitate a smooth transition between the emergency department and the inpatient admission.
Waiting to be admitted to the hospital can be nerve wracking, emotional, and even scary. My goal is to ease your transition from waiting in the ER to being admitted, explain your condition, and answer all questions you may have. Raised and educated locally, it is my pleasure to serve this wonderful community of people who call the South Shore home. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring/discovering all that the area has to offer.
