I take great pride in the opportunity to improve patients' lives. Everyone has their own story and I do not view patients as defined by their age or conditions. I seek to work with the individual in order to help them be better. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time with my family. 

My mission is to diagnose, educate and treat patients about their orthopedic conditions.

Whether the time we spend together is short or long term, I strive to ensure all patients understand the nature of their conditions, and I look forward to see their progression and improvement throughout our journey together. I was born and raised in Weymouth, because of this, I am excited and honored to serve the community I grew up in.

Being a member of South Shore Health anesthesia department is personally and professionally rewarding. I believe having high standards of care allows for a safe and effective patient experience.

I received my undergraduate nursing degree from Boston College and my masters in anesthesia from Northeastern University. Practicing in the Boston area has been important to me as my children grow. We enjoy our friends and family as well as skiing, soccer and the outdoors.

I strive to help patients attain the best health possible; have full understanding of their health issues; and equip them to take partnership in managing their health.

It is a pleasure to be a part of the team that provides exceptional care during the perioperative period. My goal is to help improve and tailor the anesthetic experience for each patient. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with family, visiting new places, and hiking/jogging. 

I am the Medical Director of Population Health for South Shore Health and divide my time between administration and patient care. My administrative interests include integration of care, professional development, and community centered program development. I value long-term relationships with my patients and find it a privilege to care for patients over their lifespan.

I feel privileged to care for patients from age 18 to 95 and beyond. While I base my practice firmly on research-based evidence, I am aware that much is still unknown in medicine and that guidelines evolve over time. Open communication with my patients helps me respect patients' values and health goals.

Outside of work, you can usually find me exploring the beauty of nature with my four young children.

Having sustained a major trauma or having undergone any kind of surgery (major or minor) can be extremely stressful. I often find myself treating patients and talking with families when they are often feeling at their worst. This is the time when I feel my warm personality and compassion can be the biggest contributors to alleviating some of that stress and anxiety. Outside of my practice, I prefer to spend time with my family enjoying the splendors of the South Shore.
