I completed my Master’s Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Northeastern University and earned my bachelors of Science degree from The College of the Holy Cross as a Biology Major and Philosophy minor. I worked as a registered nurse at MGH on a cardiac step down unit and then an NP in a busy nursing home practice and in two community health centers. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors with my husband and two children.

A life-long South Shore resident, John's is dedicated to providing the highest level of anesthesia care in the community setting. When not in the OR, John enjoys spending time with his two daughters, his rescue dog, tending to his bees hives, and being by the ocean.

I enjoy caring for children through each stage of development. Promoting lifelong health is important but I also feel confident using medical expertise and resources to support families through acute and chronic illness. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband and two daughters.

I came to medicine from the business world, and it has been incredibly rewarding to focus my energy and abilities on helping people who are acutely ill. I believe that really listening to patients and their families is the key to providing exceptional care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children.

My goal is to care for our patients as we would our loved ones: with expertise, compassion, and respect.

I grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from University of Chicago before moving to Boston for medical training at Boston University, followed by residency at Boston Medical Center.

I have been a hospitalist attending physician at South Shore Hospital since 2012. I married in 2006 and have two girls.

Working in pediatrics is truly a rewarding experience. I have been humbled in my career as families have trusted me as part of their child's medical team. I am constantly in awe of the curiosity, perceptiveness, and resilience of the pediatric patient. I love educating patients and families and learning from them as well. My current hobbies include chasing after my two little girls, spending time with family and friends, and giving my English Bulldog Bella lots of belly rubs!

My mission is to provide patient centered care that is both safe and effective.

Surgery can be a vulnerable time for patients. As an anesthesia provider, I find it rewarding to help people feel at ease prior to their procedures through listening and collaboration. Ultimately, no two anesthetics are the same, and having the opportunity to work with my patients to create a plan that tailors to their needs is what makes anesthesia so fulfilling. Outside of work, I enjoy running, gardening, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. 

I look forward to helping patients and members of our community navigate unexpected and stressful health events with extra attention to the patient and their most immediate loved ones, family, and friends. 

I look forward to providing care and service to the community that my wife and I have called home since 2010. We have two beautiful children who lovingly occupy the majority of our free time when not providing healthcare at South Shore Health. 

My focus is to manage and treat patients with a variety of Urologic disorders. I hope to educate them on future prevention of these issues as well. I look forward to assisting in providing surgical treatment for patients with different Urologic cancers.

My interest in medicine was first sparked when my father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer when I was nine years old. I went to Northeastern University for my undergraduate studies and Cornell Medicine for my PA degree. I enjoy playing a variety of sports and spending time with my wife and two kids in my free time.
