My mission is to diagnose, educate and treat patients about their orthopedic conditions.

Whether the time we spend together is short or long term, I strive to ensure all patients understand the nature of their conditions, and I look forward to see their progression and improvement throughout our journey together. I was born and raised in Weymouth, because of this, I am excited and honored to serve the community I grew up in.

It is a privilege to treat patients compassionately in our community. I strive for excellence, open communication, accessibility, and long-term relationships. Outside of work, I especially love spending time with my family, swimming, bicycling, tennis, golf, sailing, photography, and magic.

I've worked in the pediatric health care field since high school and by the time I went to college, I knew it would be my career. Children are all different, there is no lock and key to the care and respect they deserve. It's been an honor working with so many wonderful patients and their families, especially watching them grow and take on new aspects of life. Outside of work, I love the outdoors, gardening and traveling with my husband.

Prior to joining Cohasset Pediatrics I practiced pediatrics south of Boston for nine years and was Chief of Pediatrics for four years within that practice.  

I received my undergraduate degree in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of Arts.  Working as an actress afforded me the opportunity to travel professionally and experience life as a performing artist in New York City, Los Angeles and London. While working in show business was certainly exciting, I found my true calling working as a physician partnering with parents to help provide the best medical care for their children.

When not at work, I love spending time with my husband and two children and enjoy singing when I get the chance.

I enjoy establishing long-term relationships with my patients to enhance their participation in their plan of care.

My job is ultimately about the trust that comes from a long-term relationship.  I am honored that people choose me to care for them and their extended families, and I do my best to give thoughtful and evidenced based advice.  Each of us has unique goals for our long term health, and I really enjoy giving people guidance in this realm.  I also enjoy the challenge of my work.  Each day is extremely diverse and forces me to stay continually current.  When I am not at work, I love competing in triathlon and cycling events, skiing, travel, and being outside.  I also adore being a father to my three daughters.

I have been a proud member of the Hospitalist group at South Shore Hospital since its inception in 2000. I believe that patients can benefit from a dedicated group of hospital physicians who work in conjunction with the primary care physicians and specialists in the community.  

Outside of work, I enjoy most sports and outdoor life with my family on a small farm in Southern New Hampshire.

Growing up, my mother was a registered nurse and both of my parents were very service-minded. They taught me to give back to the community.

I fell in love with Family Medicine in my first year at Tufts. I became inspired to treat patients on a psychological, cultural, and emotional level, rather than just as a series of physical medical conditions.  

I enjoy traveling. I lived in Scotland for a year during my residency, and I have traveled to Nicaragua several times to work on a variety of global health projects. While there, I learned to speak Spanish and love the opportunity to speak Spanish with patients here at home.

I enjoy cooking and trying foods from all over the world. I like tapping into my creative side as well, enjoying studio art, particularly oil painting and watercolors.
