My mission is to provide the best primary care for my patients to prevent disease. This includes regular follow up of chronic conditions and keeping patients up to date with routine screenings.

It is a privilege to provide primary care and establish long-term relationships with my patients. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored, and communication is key to providing excellent care. Outside of work, I love to spend time with family and friends. My hobbies include skiing, quilting and cooking. 

My goal is to educate, support, and empower women to make choices about their health that they feel good!

I believe in providing women with education and options that empower them to make healthy decisions that contribute to better health for themselves and their families. I see the importance and benefit in a model of shared decision making. When I'm not midwifing it up I like to write, read, run, bake and hang with my kids and husband!

I am originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts. I practiced in Quincy for 30 years before coming to South Shore Medical Center in 2002. I am experienced in abdominal surgery, trauma, and management of skin and soft tissue tumors. 

I enjoy helping people stay healthy through preventative medicine, as well as treating both developing and ongoing health issues. I especially value getting to know my patients over time.

My goal is to help patients and families manage the acute illness that lead to hospitalization and transition to a healthy life outside the hospital environment.

I am passionate about effective management of acute medical issues while providing clear and concise medical information. In addition to clinical practice, I am interested in using technology innovations to improve patient health.

Outside of work, I am an avid SCUBA diver.

I started the PA program at Northeastern University in October of 1988. Since first picking up a stethoscope, I have loved being a PA. Many of my patients have shown courage and dignity at a most vulnerable time in their lives, often with good cheer. 

Great joys in my life include grand babies, my chubby cat, dog walks and kayaking at sunset. My passion project is making stained glass panels which feature birds, fish and animals in their natural habitat.

My mission is to provide patient centered care that is both safe and effective.

Surgery can be a vulnerable time for patients. As an anesthesia provider, I find it rewarding to help people feel at ease prior to their procedures through listening and collaboration. Ultimately, no two anesthetics are the same, and having the opportunity to work with my patients to create a plan that tailors to their needs is what makes anesthesia so fulfilling. Outside of work, I enjoy running, gardening, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. 

Being trusted as a physician to treat patients', sometimes life threatening, medical conditions is a privilege and responsibility I thrive to honor every day. Helping hospitalized patients and their families to cope with changes during these stressful times is crucial to achieve better medical outcomes and to improve the well-being of the community as a whole. 

Outside of work, I like to watch soccer, Crossfit training, travel the world and take photographs.
