A life-long South Shore resident, John's is dedicated to providing the highest level of anesthesia care in the community setting. When not in the OR, John enjoys spending time with his two daughters, his rescue dog, tending to his bees hives, and being by the ocean.

Being a member of South Shore Health anesthesia department is personally and professionally rewarding. I believe having high standards of care allows for a safe and effective patient experience.

I received my undergraduate nursing degree from Boston College and my masters in anesthesia from Northeastern University. Practicing in the Boston area has been important to me as my children grow. We enjoy our friends and family as well as skiing, soccer and the outdoors.

Lisa believes that patients deserve safe and individualized care that is rooted in evidence. She earned her BSN from the George Washington University. She worked in the Medical ICU at Georgetown University until coming to Boston College to earn her DNP in Nurse Anesthesiology. She lives in Chestnut Hill and loves to attend group fitness classes and vacation in warm destinations.

My mission is to promote patient advocacy by giving my patients a voice, protecting their rights, and ensuring their safety.

I went into anesthesia because of a positive experience I had while undergoing surgery. I felt like a person, not a number or specimen. It's that personal touch that I strive to provide to each patient I'm honored to care for. My family is my rock; my friends are my power; my patients are my passion.

I completed my Master’s Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Northeastern University and earned my bachelors of Science degree from The College of the Holy Cross as a Biology Major and Philosophy minor. I worked as a registered nurse at MGH on a cardiac step down unit and then an NP in a busy nursing home practice and in two community health centers. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors with my husband and two children.

My mission is to provide safe, high quality, patient centered care in collaboration with the patient, their family, and other providers on the care team to promote the patient’s goals of care and overall well-being.

It is a privilege to advance my role as a nurse anesthetist at South Shore Hospital. It is of utmost importance to me that I gain the trust of my patients and involve them in the plan of care with effective communication and transparency. Being an advocate for my patients during the perioperative period is my priority. When I am not at work, I enjoy gardening, hiking, spending time at the beach, and cooking.

I strive to provide high quality, safe, comprehensive anesthesia services and care to all my patients in the perioperative period. 

In the 8 years that I have been practicing anesthesia, I am resolute in my belief that creating and fostering a team environment with effective communication is crucial to developing an atmosphere of trust and the key to providing high quality care inside and outside of the OR with patients and colleagues alike.  As a collegiate athlete and previous marketing manager in my first career, I try to bring these skills and values into the OR and Anesthesia department. Outside of work, I love recreating in the outdoors. From snowboarding, hiking, biking, to waterskiing, beach lounging and lake time with my family, I love it all. Most importantly I love spending time with my husband and two daughters.

My mission is to teach patients about health prevention and the importance of being proactive and taking active measures to mitigate the risk of future health related problems. 

It is a privilege to be able to be in a career that focuses on health prevention, maintenance, and the treatment of acute and chronic disease processes. I believe that as a nurse anesthetist we should provide our patients with the highest level of care. This care must be individualized and needs to involve the patient as an integral member of the health team. 

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ashley, and two boys: Beckham and Preston. We enjoy traveling together and being outside. Besides my family, I enjoy reading, exercising, and playing golf/tennis. 

Growing up, my mother was a registered nurse and both of my parents were very service-minded. They taught me to give back to the community.

I fell in love with Family Medicine in my first year at Tufts. I became inspired to treat patients on a psychological, cultural, and emotional level, rather than just as a series of physical medical conditions.  

I enjoy traveling. I lived in Scotland for a year during my residency, and I have traveled to Nicaragua several times to work on a variety of global health projects. While there, I learned to speak Spanish and love the opportunity to speak Spanish with patients here at home.

I enjoy cooking and trying foods from all over the world. I like tapping into my creative side as well, enjoying studio art, particularly oil painting and watercolors.
