My mission as an emergency department physician is to provide timely and excellent care to patients while helping them through what are likely very stressful and difficult emergency situations.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire and attended Providence College in Rhode Island. I then obtained my MD at the University of Connecticut. I completed my emergency medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati and while I loved the Midwest, I always planned to come back to New England and was happy to move to the South Shore. In my free time I enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

Establishing a good patient-physician relationship is crucial to help provide the best care. I believe in allowing ample time in a visit to listen to my patients' needs and thoroughly explain their diagnosis and treatment plan. Most podiatric issues can be treated with aggressive conservative therapy, although when surgical intervention is necessary, I will communicate that to the patient in a direct and concise manner. 

I received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University. I completed my medical degree at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, NJ. My surgical and urological residency took place at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. I am certified with the American Board of Urology and am passionate about providing high quality patient care in a compassionate environment.

My mission is to provide exceptional care to hematology and oncology patients, and support patients and their families when they are at their most vulnerable. 

It is a privilege and an honor to have the opportunity to establish meaningful, long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I believe in open, honest communication and a patient-centered model when formulating a treatment plan. I look forward to supporting my patients not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spin classes, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. 

Treatment of disease begins with a correct diagnosis, using all of the available clinical and laboratory data available. While we do not have the same visibility to the patient as their primary care provider or surgeon, pathologists are an integral part of every patient's health care team, assuring that their physicians have accurate and timely pathology and laboratory data on which to act.  Away from the office, I'm a singer and cellist - you can find your way to my office by following the music.

It is an honor to have patients place their trust in my hands. I strive to provide excellent care throughout a patient’s entire hospital stay, be it in the ED, OR, ICU or ward. Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside with my family and friends.

It is truly an honor to participate in the care and lives of my patients. My passion is driven by the bonds I build with my patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment and satisfaction I hold in treating them to be as healthy and pain free as possible. It is to the extent that I feel that  "I truly have the best job in the world."

I graduated from Colegio Nacional de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, Argentina and completed my medical degree at Buenos Aires University School of Medicine. My surgical and urological residency were spent at the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires. I was an attending Urologist at Hospital Roffo in Buenos Aires until I came to the United States. At that point I was a Urology Fellow working on a research project at the Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. I completed his American residencies in urology and surgery at the University of Massachusetts.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children.

I want each patient I care for to feel heard, safe, well-informed and active participants in their healthcare.

Midwifery has been an (almost) lifelong passion of mine. I saw my aunt give birth to my cousin when I was 10 years old and knew instantly that caring for women and babies was what I was meant to do. I started as a labor and delivery nurse in 2011 and completed midwifery school in 2015. I have attended births in the hospital and home setting. I love caring for women in pregnancy and all other stages in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy hanging at our family beach house on the Jersey Shore, snowmobiling in Pittsburg, NH and spending time with my husband and 2 daughters. 

Growing up, my mother was a registered nurse and both of my parents were very service-minded. They taught me to give back to the community.

I fell in love with Family Medicine in my first year at Tufts. I became inspired to treat patients on a psychological, cultural, and emotional level, rather than just as a series of physical medical conditions.  

I enjoy traveling. I lived in Scotland for a year during my residency, and I have traveled to Nicaragua several times to work on a variety of global health projects. While there, I learned to speak Spanish and love the opportunity to speak Spanish with patients here at home.

I enjoy cooking and trying foods from all over the world. I like tapping into my creative side as well, enjoying studio art, particularly oil painting and watercolors.
