I believe completely in treating each of my patients as an individual. I believe that really listening can be just as important as any physical exam or test. Outside of my work in medicine I am a musician and I enjoy reading and spending time with my dog.

An admission to the hospital can be a very stressful time, no matter what the diagnosis is. While treating a patient's condition, I believe education and communication is very important. I enjoy spending time with my patients and their family, discussing their condition, and developing a treatment plan. Outside of work, my biggest joy is my family. 

I am a dedicated and patient focused physician with comprehensive experience in hospital settings. I hold a great regard for detail, accuracy and follow through and can make decisions in a fast paced and unpredictable environment. I value communication with patient, their families, my colleagues and support staff to provide very best care for our patients.

My philosophy is to engage patient is their own care.

I completed my residency at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA, often caring for underserved populations and immigrants.  I believe in engaging the patient in their own care and understanding any difficulty they may have in caring for themselves.

I enjoy the challenge of the diagnostic process of medicine, which is one of the many reasons I have chosen to work as a nocturnist, which is a hospital-based physician who works overnight. In my free time, I've been known to read books about the American Revolution and Colonial Period, or attend hard rock/metal concerts. Also, '90s music is in my head all of the time.
