It is a pleasure to be a part of the team that provides exceptional care during the perioperative period. My goal is to help improve and tailor the anesthetic experience for each patient. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with family, visiting new places, and hiking/jogging. 

My practice style encourages patient and parent involvement in problem-solving and health maintenance. I enjoy meeting new patients and getting to know them on a personal level, so to better tailor treatment plans to each child's unique needs. Listening to parents and patients is paramount to my office visits. I try to create a fun and stress-free experience for all.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, especially at the beach!

I went into anesthesia because of a positive experience I had while undergoing surgery. I felt like a person, not a number or specimen. It's that personal touch that I strive to provide to each patient I'm honored to care for. My family is my rock; my friends are my power; my patients are my passion.

My philosophy is to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and offer my expertise within the scope of my skills.

I was born in New York City to immigrant Latino parents. Yes, I root for the Yankees, of course!

Outside of work, I enjoy physical fitness and spending time with my family. 
 

My mission is to create a positive healthcare experience for patients and their families.

It is a privilege to build long-term relationships with my patients and their families and to be able to care for them through all stages of childhood, especially when they’re not feeling well.  I believe that it’s important for children to receive care in an environment where they feel comfortable.  In my free time, I like to read, go to the beach and spend time with family.

My mission is to provide patient-centered care allowing our patients to access trustworthy and well-informed care.

My personal philosophy in life is to be kind and compassionate. My background is in adult-gerontology and neurosurgery. I aim to create patient-centered relationships where my patients feel comfortable disclosing any concerns. In addition, I aim to provide open communication. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering at a local nursing home and a local food bank, and performing in an dance group in ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. I also enjoy hiking and exploring local trails.

It is such an honor and privilege to be a physician.  It has been especially gratifying to devote my career to the field of Hospital Medicine, and to work at South Shore Hospital to help serve my community. 

Being hospitalized is often one of the most challenging and frustrating experiences a person can have. As a Hospitalist, what is so rewarding is that I can use my training and abilities to make such difficult times for people more compassionate and less confusing. 

Outside of the hospital, I love spending time with my wife and young son and traveling.  I also love anything to do with the outdoors and enjoy running.

My mission is to provide safe, high quality, patient centered care in collaboration with the patient, their family, and other providers on the care team to promote the patient’s goals of care and overall well-being.

It is a privilege to advance my role as a nurse anesthetist at South Shore Hospital. It is of utmost importance to me that I gain the trust of my patients and involve them in the plan of care with effective communication and transparency. Being an advocate for my patients during the perioperative period is my priority. When I am not at work, I enjoy gardening, hiking, spending time at the beach, and cooking.

My job is ultimately about the trust that comes from a long-term relationship.  I am honored that people choose me to care for them and their extended families, and I do my best to give thoughtful and evidenced based advice.  Each of us has unique goals for our long term health, and I really enjoy giving people guidance in this realm.  I also enjoy the challenge of my work.  Each day is extremely diverse and forces me to stay continually current.  When I am not at work, I love competing in triathlon and cycling events, skiing, travel, and being outside.  I also adore being a father to my three daughters.
