I am originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts. I practiced in Quincy for 30 years before coming to South Shore Medical Center in 2002. I am experienced in abdominal surgery, trauma, and management of skin and soft tissue tumors. 

I believe completely in treating each of my patients as an individual. I believe that really listening can be just as important as any physical exam or test. Outside of my work in medicine I am a musician and I enjoy reading and spending time with my dog.

A life-long South Shore resident, John's is dedicated to providing the highest level of anesthesia care in the community setting. When not in the OR, John enjoys spending time with his two daughters, his rescue dog, tending to his bees hives, and being by the ocean.

I love caring for children and their families, whether it be supporting parents as they learn how to care for their newborns or helping a sick child recover from an acute illness. I believe in shared decision-making and incorporating each family's individual needs and goals into their child's care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, running, and traveling.

I enjoy the challenge of the diagnostic process of medicine, which is one of the many reasons I have chosen to work as a nocturnist, which is a hospital-based physician who works overnight. In my free time, I've been known to read books about the American Revolution and Colonial Period, or attend hard rock/metal concerts. Also, '90s music is in my head all of the time. 

My mission is to provide compassionate and effective care to treat patients in critical moments in order to ensure the best possible outcomes through prompt intervention and evidence-based practices.

I completed residency at Boston Medical Center. I believe in providing evidence-based and compassionate care at all times and in honest and open communication with my patients about their condition and treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing and spending time outdoors and with my family.

My mission is to promote patient advocacy by giving my patients a voice, protecting their rights, and ensuring their safety.

I went into anesthesia because of a positive experience I had while undergoing surgery. I felt like a person, not a number or specimen. It's that personal touch that I strive to provide to each patient I'm honored to care for. My family is my rock; my friends are my power; my patients are my passion.

I went into family medicine in order to have long-term relationships with my patients, and I find this to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.  I enjoy working with patients of all ages and working together with multigenerational families.  Outside of medicine, my interests include running, biking, skiing, and travel.  Most importantly, I love spending time with my family.

I am originally from Russia. I underwent undergraduate and medical school education in Texas, and moved to the Boston area for postgraduate training in 2001. 

I have practiced in Dorchester and Weymouth, Massachusetts since 2006. I joined South Shore Medical Center and South Shore Hospital in the Fall of 2017.

I am an experienced pulmonologist who provides care for multiple pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, lung nodules and lung cancer.
 

My mission is to treat the patient in front of me with compassion, dignity, and respect.

I believe that medical care needs to be tailored to the patient in front of me. I believe that taking the time to talk with the patient about their medical concerns is just as important as ordering tests and imaging. Taking the time to listen to the patient can go a long way to developing a respectful, trusted relationship, which can have a very positive outcome for patients. Outside of work I like rock climbing, hiking, and traveling.
