I enjoy the challenge of the diagnostic process of medicine, which is one of the many reasons I have chosen to work as a nocturnist, which is a hospital-based physician who works overnight. In my free time, I've been known to read books about the American Revolution and Colonial Period, or attend hard rock/metal concerts. Also, '90s music is in my head all of the time. 

My journey to becoming a physician has led me not only to multiple states, but also abroad to Haiti and Jordan on medical mission trips. I am continually learning from my patients and their experiences. I translate this clinical knowledge to all of my new patients. 

Outside of work I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family

I have been a proud member of the Hospitalist group at South Shore Hospital since its inception in 2000. I believe that patients can benefit from a dedicated group of hospital physicians who work in conjunction with the primary care physicians and specialists in the community.  

Outside of work, I enjoy most sports and outdoor life with my family on a small farm in Southern New Hampshire.

I take great pride in the opportunity to improve patients' lives. Everyone has their own story and I do not view patients as defined by their age or conditions. I seek to work with the individual in order to help them be better. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time with my family.

Dr. Devan grew up in New Hampshire and received a bachelor's degree in engineering at RPI. He earned his MD at Tufts in 2017 and completed his urology residency at Maine Medical Center in 2022. His focus is general urology and robotics. He enjoys developing a shared treatment plan with his patients. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his husband and family.

A hospitalization is often wrought with difficult news and decisions; it is my honor to care for patients at these times. I enjoy working with a care team, to deliver high-quality care. Above all, I try to foster sincere relationships with patients, focusing on what is most important to each person.   

I was drawn to family medicine because joining patients on their journeys to healthier, happier lifestyles is incredibly rewarding. I strive to always provide care that is patient-centered and evidence-based in both primary care and the hospital. Outside of medicine, I love traveling and enjoying new restaurants with my wife.

My goal is to establish open communication with patients so we can work together on taking ownership of their health and wellness.

I enjoy the meaningful relationships I have built and the inspiration I draw from patients every day in clinic. A healthy dialogue is an important part of the provider-patient relationship. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, writing, and staying active outdoors.

I am Director of GK Dermatology, PC, in Weymouth, Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Brown University, and Professor of Dermatology at Jundiaí Medical School, Brazil. My practice focuses on Medical Dermatology, Phototherapy, and Laser Surgery. I have authored more than 100 articles and chapters and edited 2 monographs and 3 books.
