I aim to improve patient’s lung health and help patients and families through critical illnesses.

I work to provide excellent care in the acute and outpatient settings, in close collaboration with other specialists and staff. I am passionate about helping everyone reach their individual health goals.

My mission is to make my patients feel more at ease and provide excellent care throughout the perioperative process. 

After college I worked on an ambulance and quickly learned that I enjoyed caring for my patients in acute settings.  Similarly as an anesthesiologist, I like the immediate good I can do for people.  What I enjoy most though, is hopefully making people feel less anxious and more emotionally supported through stressful situations.

I was drawn to family medicine because joining patients on their journeys to healthier, happier lifestyles is incredibly rewarding. I strive to always provide care that is patient-centered and evidence-based in both primary care and the hospital. Outside of medicine, I love traveling and enjoying new restaurants with my wife.

I find great satisfaction in treating the whole person and not just their illness. Understanding a patient's unique outlook on life is paramount to providing proper care. Each patient has a voice which should not only be heard but appreciated.

Outside of work, I enjoy time in the woods; hiking, fishing and kayaking with family and friends. 

I grew up in southern Maine and attended Harvard University for my undergraduate education. While at Tufts University School of Medicine and Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, my focus was on primary care medicine. I believe in the dignity of each of my patients. Respect, compassion, and reliability are among my goals in patient care. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and the arts, usually in the company of my family. 

I am the Medical Director of Population Health for South Shore Health and divide my time between administration and patient care. My administrative interests include integration of care, professional development, and community centered program development. I value long-term relationships with my patients and find it a privilege to care for patients over their lifespan.

I have been a physician's assistant in women’s health for close to 30 years on the South Shore. I enjoy seeing women in their many phases of life. I feel privileged when patients I met at the start of my career bring their daughters and granddaughters in to see me for their care. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family.

My philosophy is to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and offer my expertise within the scope of my skills.

I was born in New York City to immigrant Latino parents. Yes, I root for the Yankees, of course!

Outside of work, I enjoy physical fitness and spending time with my family. 
 

I enjoy getting to work with patients in the inpatient hospital setting. As a hospitalist, I am able to work collaboratively not only with the hospitalist team itself, but also with specialists, nurses, case managers and all of the hospital staff. I appreciate being able to build relationships with patients as well. I enjoy the variety and challenges that come with working as a hospitalist. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I am a fan of the Patriots, the Celtics and U.S. Soccer.

My goal is to help patients and families manage the acute illness that lead to hospitalization and transition to a healthy life outside the hospital environment.

I am passionate about effective management of acute medical issues while providing clear and concise medical information. In addition to clinical practice, I am interested in using technology innovations to improve patient health.

Outside of work, I am an avid SCUBA diver.
