I am originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts. I practiced in Quincy for 30 years before coming to South Shore Medical Center in 2002. I am experienced in abdominal surgery, trauma, and management of skin and soft tissue tumors. 

I take great pride in the opportunity to improve patients' lives. Everyone has their own story and I do not view patients as defined by their age or conditions. I seek to work with the individual in order to help them be better. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time with my family. 

My practice style encourages patient and parent involvement in problem-solving and health maintenance. I enjoy meeting new patients and getting to know them on a personal level, so to better tailor treatment plans to each child's unique needs. Listening to parents and patients is paramount to my office visits. I try to create a fun and stress-free experience for all.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, especially at the beach!

It is a privilege to build long-term relationships with my patients and their families and to be able to care for them through all stages of childhood, especially when they’re not feeling well.  I believe that it’s important for children to receive care in an environment where they feel comfortable.  In my free time, I like to read, go to the beach and spend time with family.
