Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross) and South Shore Health System have launched a first-of-its-kind pilot program to improve patient care, slow the rise of health care costs, and change the way hospitals are paid.

Jim and Mary Bristol and Rose Di Pietro, MSN, MBA, RN will be the recipients of a unique Luminaria medallion honoring "Home Care Champions."

Longtime South Shore Health supporters Rosemary and Jim Phalen will be named “Home Care Champions” and receive a unique Luminaria medallion alongside Christopher Oddleifson, Chief Executive Officer of Rockland Trust Company at this year's 9th annual Luminaria event.
