An Update on New Vaccine Appointments at South Shore Health

Due to limits on COVID-19 vaccine supplies by the state – impacting South Shore Health and other health systems -- we are unable to schedule any new, first dose vaccination appointments at this time.

This includes our employees and patients currently eligible under the state’s phased vaccine distribution plan.

Patients with Scheduled Second Dose Appointments

Patients who have already received their first dose with South Shore Health will be able to receive their second dose with South Shore Health.

Please keep your scheduled second-dose appointment, if you have one.

Eligible patients waiting for a First Dose Appointment

We do not yet have a timeframe for our next allocation of first doses from the state. Once we receive confirmation on our next allocation of vaccines, we will reach back out to eligible patients to schedule an appointment.

We encourage our patients to receive the COVID-19 vaccine whenever and wherever possible.
