South Shore Health to Expand OB/GYN Services at SSMC Norwell

South Shore Medical Center, part of South Shore Health, is pleased to announce the upcoming expansion of its comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) services at its 143 Longwater Drive practice in Norwell. This expansion will enhance access to high-quality, patient-centered care for women across the South Shore.
The newly expanded services will combine clinical excellence with state-of-the-art diagnostics to deliver individualized care for women at every stage of life. From adolescence through menopause and beyond, patients will benefit from a full spectrum of specialized services in a convenient, community-based setting.
“Our goal is to make it easier for women in our community to access exceptional care close to home,” said Ingrid Kotch, MD, Chief of Obstetrics/Gynecology Ambulatory Care at the Women’s Center of South Shore Medical Center.
“By expanding our OB/GYN services in Norwell, we are ensuring that patients have access to advanced diagnostics, experienced specialists, and personalized support throughout their healthcare journey.”
The Norwell office will offer a wide range of services, including:
- Obstetrical care
- Gynecologic care
- Midwifery care
- Menopause counseling
- Comprehensive diagnostic testing
- Laboratory services
In addition to the Norwell location, The Women’s Center at South Shore Medical Center provides comprehensive OB/GYN care at its offices in Plymouth, Quincy, Weymouth, and Whitman. Patients have access to a full range of specialized gynecologic and obstetric services including genetic counseling, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgery, and infertility screening.
