Holiday Gift Basket Raffle Raises $48,730 for Generous Hearts Fund

We're pleased to share that thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our colleagues, this year’s Holiday Gift Basket Raffle and associated fundraising generated a total of $48,730 for the Generous Hearts Fund!

Since 2009, the Generous Hearts Fund has provided emergency financial support to 466 colleagues and awarded more than $777,450.

The excitement around this year’s gift basket raffle culminated in Monday’s drawing in the South Shore Hospital Dining Room, where the winners of the 27 baskets donated by various departments were announced!

We're grateful to all of the colleagues who donated baskets and to the colleagues and members of the public who purchased raffle tickets.

Holding this beloved yearly tradition would not be possible without our Generous Hearts Committee, consisting of more than 20 volunteers from across the health system.
