The Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health offers a monthly prostate support group on the second Wednesday of every month from 6:30-8 PM.
For November's support group, our guest speaker will be Peter Orio, DO, MS, FASTRO, FABS.
Dr. Orio is Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and an associate professor at Harvard Medical School.
At this session, Dr. Orio will discuss the latest techniques in treating prostate cancer and will offer an open forum to answer any questions you may have.
Aside from Dr. Orio's presentation, this support group is an opportunity for men with prostate cancer to share experiences, information, and resources.
Guests are welcome to join this session in person or via WebEx.
The in-person session will be held in the first floor conference room at the Cancer Center, located at 101 Columbian Street, Weymouth.
Registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance.
