As we head into cold and flu season, join The Friends of South Shore Health and Todd Ellerin, MD, Director of Infectious Disease and Vice Chair of Medicine, for an informative discussion on infection prevention.

Dr. Ellerin will discuss how various airborne illnesses spread and which practical precautions make the greatest difference.

He will also share details on safe food selections and how to properly handle and store food to reduce your risk of foodborne illnesses in the light of several recent outbreaks.

Lastly, Dr. Ellerin will offer a refresher on recommended vaccines for individuals age 50 and older, as well as additional vaccines that may benefit you.

This event will be held virtually via WebEx. It is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
