I came to medicine from the business world, and it has been incredibly rewarding to focus my energy and abilities on helping people who are acutely ill. I believe that really listening to patients and their families is the key to providing exceptional care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children.

I strive to build a space where patients feel safe to discuss their health concerns and engage in shared decision-making.

Prior to joining South Shore Health, I had the privilege to train at UMass Family Medicine Residency and complete an additional year of fellowship to also care for patients living with HIV/viral hepatitis at the Family Health Center of Worcester.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, running, gardening, and camping/hiking.

My treatment philosophy is to empower patients to be as healthy as they can be through a holistic approach.

I want to help patients feel the best they can. I believe focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and doing things that make you happy make a huge difference in people’s health. Listening to what patients have to say is of utmost importance. I have been described as a good listener by some of my patients.

My mission is to promote patient advocacy by giving my patients a voice, protecting their rights, and ensuring their safety.

I went into anesthesia because of a positive experience I had while undergoing surgery. I felt like a person, not a number or specimen. It's that personal touch that I strive to provide to each patient I'm honored to care for. My family is my rock; my friends are my power; my patients are my passion.

My practice style encourages patient and parent involvement in problem-solving and health maintenance. I enjoy meeting new patients and getting to know them on a personal level, so to better tailor treatment plans to each child's unique needs. Listening to parents and patients is paramount to my office visits. I try to create a fun and stress-free experience for all.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, especially at the beach! 

I find great satisfaction in treating the whole person and not just their illness. Understanding a patient's unique outlook on life is paramount to providing proper care. Each patient has a voice which should not only be heard but appreciated.

Outside of work, I enjoy time in the woods; hiking, fishing and kayaking with family and friends. 

I enjoy getting to know patients and treating the whole person. I focus on preventative care and supporting patients to reach their health goals.   

The doctor-patient relationship is at the center of your health care, and I strive to provide care that is collaborative and inclusive. I have a holistic approach, working with patients to treat the cause of medical problems, and reducing prescription medicines when it is safe to do so.   I am also pro-active, coordinating care and advocating for patients as they navigate the health care system. I enjoy caring for newborns, children, and family members of all ages, as well as helping with stress management and healthy lifestyle changes. 

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my extra-large dog, reading, running, cooking, and playing flute, piano and guitar.
