As an admitting hospitalist, my focus is to facilitate a smooth transition between the emergency department and the inpatient  admission. 

Waiting to be admitted to the hospital can be nerve wracking, emotional, and even scary. My goal is to ease  your transition from waiting in the ER to being admitted, explain your condition, and answer all questions you may have. Raised and educated locally, it is my pleasure to serve this wonderful community of people who call the South Shore home. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring/discovering all that the area has to offer.   

Being trusted as a physician to treat patients', sometimes life threatening, medical conditions is a privilege and responsibility I thrive to honor every day. Helping hospitalized patients and their families to cope with changes during these stressful times is crucial to achieve better medical outcomes and to improve the well-being of the community as a whole. 

Outside of work, I like to watch soccer, Crossfit training, travel the world and take photographs. 

My goal is to partner with my patients and their support teams to manage illness and promote health and wellbeing.

It is a privilege to provide care to members of our community during a time that can be overwhelmingly challenging hospitalizations. I strive to provide efficient and effective care to get patients back to feeling their best selves as soon as possible.  I feel it is important to provide individualized care, focused on the individual and not the illness. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and black Labrador, Max!

A life-long South Shore resident, John's is dedicated to providing the highest level of anesthesia care in the community setting. When not in the OR, John enjoys spending time with his two daughters, his rescue dog, tending to his bees hives, and being by the ocean.

I have been providing medical and surgical foot and ankle care to the greater South Shore community since 1996. I first joined the medical staff of South Shore Hospital in 1997 and have been working with South Shore Medical Center since 2004. Some of my clinical interests include Podiatric Surgery and Sports Medicine of the foot and ankle.
