My treatment focus is to ensure that each and every patient receives the best care and that their care plan is tailored to meet their individual needs and diagnosis. 

I believe that working with hematology and oncology patients is a calling and it is truly an honor to be a part of each patient’s care. It is extremely important that every patient have a treatment plan that fits their diagnosis and needs, and that this plan is communicated clearly with all members of the treatment team.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, and walking the beach.

As a family medicine trained hospitalist, I aim to maintain a coordinative approach to the care I give. I prioritize patient education in my treatment philosophy. 

My mission is to provide the best primary care for my patients to prevent disease. This includes regular follow up of chronic conditions and keeping patients up to date with routine screenings.

It is a privilege to provide primary care and establish long-term relationships with my patients. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored, and communication is key to providing excellent care. Outside of work, I love to spend time with family and friends. My hobbies include skiing, quilting and cooking. 

Patients with vascular disease often face many challenges—medical and otherwise. Consequently, I recognize that there are many important aspects to your care.  I also appreciate that having surgery is a major life event. With all of this in mind, I will do my best to provide you with patient-centered, high quality, effective and compassionate care.

My goal is to care for our patients as we would our loved ones: with expertise, compassion, and respect.

I grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from University of Chicago before moving to Boston for medical training at Boston University, followed by residency at Boston Medical Center.

I have been a hospitalist attending physician at South Shore Hospital since 2012. I married in 2006 and have two girls.
