The return to school brings with it a unique set of new challenges, as many children who had gotten acclimated to remote learning and social distancing are now facing a full-time return to in-person learning.

Our goal as anesthesiologists is to both alleviate pain and to keep the patient and baby safe. We need to anticipate any complications that could jeopardize the safety of the patient and baby on the day of delivery.
