Gem Gravure, an ink development company based in Hanover, has donated $10,000 to the Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health.

On Thursday, November 18, Paul Gemelli, Executive Vice President of Gem Gravure, his wife Anna and his mother Carol, along with several Gem Gravure employees presented a check to members of the Grayken Center team in support of behavioral health and substance use disorder services.

The donation was a result of Gem Gravure’s “End of Year Day” – in which employees at the company make a final push to sell product. As a motivator, Gemelli pledged to make a donation in honor of the company’s employees to the Grayken Center.

“We are extremely grateful to Paul, Anna and the entire team at Gem Gravure who are helping us make a tremendous impact in our community,” said Todd Kerensky, MD, Director of Addiction Medicine Services at South Shore Health. “Their donation helps us to provide patients with access to care, support programs, and mental health and SUD resources unavailable elsewhere in our region.”

Gem Gravure has been a 20-year company member of South Shore Health’s President’s Circle, which is comprised of more than 130 leading local businesses that support South Shore Health’s charitable mission: Your Health. Our Passion. One Community.

Additionally, Anna Gemelli has run the Boston Marathon as a member of Team South Shore Health where she has raised more than $13,700 for the Grayken Center and its services.
