Whether you’re planning to give birth at South Shore Hospital or still considering your options, our Maternity Unit tours are a great way to see first-hand the advanced, high-quality services we offer.
These tours offer you a chance to see our McKim Family Birthing Center and Mother-Infant Unit with guidance and insight from an experienced nurse or other maternity caregiver.
Your tour guide will discuss the advanced care we’re able to provide right here in the community, share insight into the birth experience, and answer any questions you may have.
For privacy and safety reasons, these tours are limited in size. Please register yourself and up to one additional partner or support person to accompany you on the tour.
We ask that you please respect these capacity limits and refrain from bringing additional guests with you, including children, on the day of your tour.
South Shore Hospital offers free parking on site, with free valet parking available as well.
Guests should enter via the McKim Family Main Entrance and speak to our Concierge Team, who will direct you to the McKim Family Birthing Center on the second floor.
Tours last approximately 20-30 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes prior to your start time to limit delays.
