I take great pride in the opportunity to improve patients' lives. Everyone has their own story and I do not view patients as defined by their age or conditions. I seek to work with the individual in order to help them be better. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time with my family.

Whether the time we spend together is short or long term, I strive to ensure all patients understand the nature of their conditions, and I look forward to see their progression and improvement throughout our journey together. I was born and raised in Weymouth, because of this, I am excited and honored to serve the community I grew up in.

Prior to joining South Shore Health, I had the privilege to train at UMass Family Medicine Residency and complete an additional year of fellowship to also care for patients living with HIV/viral hepatitis at the Family Health Center of Worcester.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, running, gardening, and camping/hiking.

I enjoy getting to work with patients in the inpatient hospital setting. As a hospitalist, I am able to work collaboratively not only with the hospitalist team itself, but also with specialists, nurses, case managers and all of the hospital staff. I appreciate being able to build relationships with patients as well. I enjoy the variety and challenges that come with working as a hospitalist. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I am a fan of the Patriots, the Celtics and U.S. Soccer.

I am the Medical Director of Population Health for South Shore Health and divide my time between administration and patient care. My administrative interests include integration of care, professional development, and community centered program development. I value long-term relationships with my patients and find it a privilege to care for patients over their lifespan.

My mission is to provide patient centered care that is both safe and effective.

Surgery can be a vulnerable time for patients. As an anesthesia provider, I find it rewarding to help people feel at ease prior to their procedures through listening and collaboration. Ultimately, no two anesthetics are the same, and having the opportunity to work with my patients to create a plan that tailors to their needs is what makes anesthesia so fulfilling. Outside of work, I enjoy running, gardening, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. 

My mission is to teach patients how better health habits can prevent many diseases.

It is a privilege to help people and establish long-term relationships with my patients. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored. We all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding a treatment plan. Communication is paramount. Outside of work, I love exercising, working in my garden, and spending time at the Cape; however, most importantly I love spending time with my family.
 

It is an honor to have patients place their trust in my hands. I strive to provide excellent care throughout a patient’s entire hospital stay, be it in the ED, OR, ICU or ward. Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside with my family and friends.

My personal philosophy in nursing and working in healthcare aligns with a profound quote from the book of Galatians, chapter 6 and verse 9, which says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (KJV, 1911).  This embodies the accountability, professionalism, compassion, and perseverance that I have personified in my nursing career. My Christian faith has led me in the paths of what is right and good in this world, giving me the vocation of being a healthcare provider to prove that faith through actions of kindness and care towards others.

I have dedicated my career in healthcare to the goal of improving health literacy for patients and their caregivers. I truly believe that a better understanding of health care issues, disease prevention and disease care by patients and their caregivers has a direct impact on their quality of life. I work hard to actively listen to the concerns, obstacles, and barriers my patients present and collaborate with them to prepare a plan of care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, am very active in supporting my church, and love to cook.
