Join South Shore Health and the Town of Weymouth for the latest installment in our 2026 Community Wellness Speaker Series!

Todd Kerensky, MD, Medical Director of Addiction Medicine at the Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health, will discuss comprehensive approaches to addiction treatment.

Dr. Kerensky will share his expertise on a number of topics, including:

  • What are alcohol and substance use disorders?
  • Understanding the conditions and their impacts
  • Use disorder vs. physical dependence
  • Overview of evidence-based treatments and a look at available options
  • The power of language and how words can reduce stigma and support recovery


This program is free and open to the public. It will be held in Multipurpose Room 138 at Tufts Library, 46 Broad Street, Weymouth.
