South Shore Health offers laboratory services at multiple locations across the South Shore.

Our Laboratory Services team tests samples for patients and providers to keep our community safe. A full list of lab locations and hours of operations can be found below.

Change to Laboratory Semen Analysis Process

Effective July 25, 2023, all semen analysis requests are now routed through Central Scheduling. This change improves efficiency and allows us to better assist all patients.

Patients who require semen analysis services can fax their doctor’s order to 781-624-4099 and call 781-624-4090 to book an appointment.

Patients are responsible for verifying the status of their lab orders prior to visiting the lab. Please speak to your provider with any questions about your lab orders prior to arrival.

South Shore Hospital

The lab is located on the first floor of the McKim Building. Patients should enter using the McKim Family Main Entrance and speak to our Concierge Team for directions to the lab.

All ages are welcome. We encourage pediatric patients or patients needing assistance to go to our Hingham lab location. No appointment required. Patients should verify the status of their lab order prior to arrival.
