Expert Care for Minor Injuries and Illnesses

South Shore Health's Urgent Care Centers allow you to see a doctor without an appointment for injuries and minor illnesses, including the flu. Urgent care is for injuries and illnesses that need the attention of a doctor but not necessarily the emergency room. From kids with a cough, teenagers needing sports physicals, adults with a broken bone, asthma, pneumonia, lacerations, cuts, or fractures, we can treat a variety of injuries and minor illness in our urgent care facilities.

Our Health Express urgent care centers include onsite x-ray and laboratory services and because they are part of South Shore Health, we can easily connect you to additional medical care if it is needed. Some of the common conditions treated in urgent care include:

  • Cuts, abrasions, scrapes and minor lacerations; fractures, sprains and strains
  • Flu, sore throats and colds; coughs and wheezing
  • Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Allergies and Asthma
  • Gastrointestinal Ailments; Stomach aches; vomiting/diarrhea
  • Earaches, and ear infections; Minor eye injuries or infections 
  • Lyme Disease/Tick Bites; animal bites
  • Urinary tract infections; bacterial infections; dehydration
  • Sports injuries; back aches; other aches and pains; falls
  • Burns, foreign bodies, splinters, rashes, abscesses
