Gift In-Kind Donations

Thank you for your interest in donating an in-kind item to South Shore Health!

All donation drop-offs must be coordinated with a South Shore Health Foundation team member and cannot be dropped off at any location without prior approval.

  • We accept in-kind donations to raise funds as auction items or use as drawing prizes for one of our signature events or annual giving programs. Popular items include gift cards or certificates to local businesses, tickets to sporting events or concerts, hotel stays, and autographed sports or celebrity memorabilia.

 

  • We accept in-kind donations of services from businesses to offset the cost of our fundraising events or programs.
     
  • We accept a limited amount of in-kind gifts for pediatric patients and their families. 
    • Please note due to safety and liability concerns, we are unable to accept used or handmade items. All donations must be new and in original packaging.
    • We are unable to accept toys with violent themes, adult themes, religious themes, or scary characters.
    • Due to patient safety and privacy, donors are not permitted to distribute gifts to patients and families.

 

  • South Shore Health Foundation does not accept any used or handmade items or medical supplies. Donations of other in-kind items are at the discretion of the South Shore Health Foundation staff in conjunction with our clinical and administrative staff. Items may be collected or accepted if there is a need from a particular department or service.
