About This Event

Understanding Grandparenting is a two hour class that addresses the changes that have been made to new baby care and birth since you had your babies. It includes birth, the things that have changed and the new tools we use. What is new in baby care, safety measures for the babies, and new health practices. We also cover feeding breast or bottles. How we as grandparents can support our children as they navigate being new parents.

Please only register one attendee. Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend. You do not need to register them.

Please check your junk mail folder if you do not receive an email confirmation within one hour of registering.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your class, please call the Childbirth Education office at 781-624-3300 or email us at childbirth [at] southshorehealth.org (childbirth[at]southshorehealth[dot]org). If you need to cancel for a medical issue that precludes you from attending or because you have delivered your baby already we will provide a full refund upon receipt of physician documentation.  If you miss a class for a non-medical reason you will not be reimbursed; however, you may change to a different class up to three business days before your class is scheduled, depending on space availability. By registering for a class, you are agreeing to this policy.
